The Bookkeeper position is a part-time position working 3 days per week.
Below are the duties and qualifications for this position:
Bookkeeper Job Duties:
o Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
o Financial Statements
o Monthly Closing of Books
o Reconciling Entries
o Maintaining General Ledger; posting transactions
o Financial Reporting
Required Qualifications:
o Minimum of 5 years of experience as a bookkeeper; preferably 7 - 10 years;
o Proficient Excel
o Proficient in QuickBooks
o Team Player
o Computer Savvy
Preferred Traits:
o Experience in Your Membership database
o Experience in PowerPoint
Hourly Rate:
o Is dependent upon experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
