Computer proficiency in use of spreadsheets, word processing, Lotus Notes, SAP, CAD/CAM, drafting etc.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Troubleshoot ovens, automation, and press equipment to ensure proper machine operation.
Coordinate maintenance and repair of assembly and test tooling in Delta Dyne and Hydraulic VSL.
Investigate assigned product and process non-conformances and implement corrective actions (Springs, coatings, castings) Implement material handling measures and training as directed from handling RCCM.
Plan and coordinate parts cleaning workstation specification and purchase.
Responsibilities include developing process improvements to increase overall cell efficiency always keeping in mind simplifying paperwork, processes, and automation to increase efficiency and competitiveness.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OR AREAS UNDER INCUMBENTS CONTROL Addresses tooling issues including new fixturing, old fixturing improvements, shop automation, tooling prints, ordering tooling material, marking and organizing tooling.
Responsible for manufacturing issues including set up reductions, part families, equipment use suggestion, reduction of cycle times, and quality root cause and effect.
