Caregiver/Companion Duties:
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients - Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming - Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals - Assist with meal planning and preparation - Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up and laundry - Provide assistance with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism - Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times - Respect and uphold the rights of residents -Engaging clients by conversing with them and planning and attending to them as they participate in appropriate social activities and hobbies.
-Driving clients to planned outings or events.
-Must have reliable transportation to take client to event.
Skills:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred - Knowledge of medication administration procedures - Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment - Familiarity with resident rights and regulations in a caregiving setting - First aid certification is a plus - Physical ability to lift and assist clients as needed Job Types:
