As Sr Product Manager, KitchenConnect - you will be responsible for the global KitchenConnect product vision, strategy, and roadmap, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet the needs of our customers and align with our business objectives.
Reporting directly to the SVP Technology, this position is based out of our corporate headquarters in New Port Richey, Florida (or remote) and will support KitchenConnect, a Welbilt brand.
KitchenConnect is Welbilt's premier digital platform for a new generation of connected kitchens, harnesses technology and data to optimize operations, improve guest experiences, and enable your business to continually adapt to an ever-changing digital world through the ability to turn patterns into profits.
Major Accountability:
KitchenConnect product lifecycle, roadmap development, and management aligned to equipment brand strategies Overall ownership of the platform and features Communication with brand partners to ensure features meet brand needs Management of the overall user experience of the KitchenConnect platform Key Tasks &
Responsibilities:
Product Strategy:
Develop a clear product strategy and roadmap for the KitchenConnect platform, with a focus on serving the needs of the commercial foodservice industry.
Stay informed about industry trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to make informed decisions about the product direction.
Requirements Gathering:
Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to gather and prioritize product requirements.
Translate customer needs and market insights into detailed product specifications and projects.
Product Development:
Work closely with customers to define features then engineering and design teams to bring new features and enhancements to life, ensuring the product is developed to meet original design intent and customer expectations.
Market Research:
Conduct market research to identify opportunities for new products and features.
Analyze competitor offerings and make recommendations for product improvements and differentiation.
User Experience (UX):
Champion user-centered design principles to ensure an excellent user experience.
Directly manage designers and researchers to gather insights and optimize the user experience.
Product Launch:
Plan and execute product launches, including go-to-market strategies, documentation, and customer training.
Monitor the success of product launches and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Performance Monitoring:
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and adoption of the product.
Analyze data and user feedback to drive product improvements.
Qualifications:
Education &
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Product Management, Marketing, Engineering or relevant field.
Master degree is a plus.
Will consider 11 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
Minimum 7 of years of experience in product management with increasing responsibility.
Experience working with IoT, Digital or Web product management, preferably in a Platform application, is a plus.
Experience working with B2B enterprise cloud solutions, is a plus Skills & Abilities:

This work typically requires extended periods of sitting at a desk in an office environment.
Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time domestically or internationally.
