Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:
1.
Welcomes and greets patients/clients/visitors to the department in a manner that is helpful and friendly; determines purpose of visit and direct patients/clients/visitors to appropriate person or department(s).
2.
Provides support and assists Front Office Manager with Day-to-day duties.
3.
Answer and transfers calls as needed; works with central reception to always ensure adequate phone coverage.
4.
Verifying patients' insurance; copays; out of packets 5.
Maintains patient waiting areas and front-desk areas in a manner that is organized and neat.
6.
Performs all duties and service in full compliance with FMPM and FSSC Standards.
7.
Practices confidentiality and privacy protocols in accordance with Clinic policies and HIPAA requirements.
8.
Process information using Greenway program.
9.
Confirm patient's appointments/Pre-op time.
Go over pre-op instructions.
10.
Prepping chart for next day 11.
Scanning charts into patient's account 12.
Check Faxes 13.
Closes Journal Daily.
14.
Check Voicemail daily.
15.
Daily tasks can be changed and added as needed.
16.
Willingness to learn and participate in training.
17.
Assist FSSC nurses with day-to-day duties.
18.
Be willing to travel to other locations.

2-3 years' Experience in the Administration of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities.
